DIL HI TO HAI: Karan Kundra is the NEW LEAD of the show

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s much talked about show, ‘Dil Hi To Hai’ was thought to be remake of hit dharma film ‘Khabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. However, TV czarina soon made it clear that her show not the remake of the film. Ekta also revealed plot of the show and wrote that serial is about a rich family who owns a pharmaceutical business. Few days ago we told you that ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ actor Omkar Kapoor was roped in to play the lead role but just before the promo shoot actor backed out. Now makers have found a replacement and it is Karan Kundra.  He will now play the male lead in the show. As per news in Tellychakkar.com, “Post the reports of Omkar Kapoor dejecting the project to play the main lead, the makers are now in talks with dashing hunk, Karan Kundra.” If this happens, ‘Dil Hi To Hai’ will mark as comeback show of Karan Kundra. He is currently seen in MTV show ‘Love School season 2’ with girlfriend Anusha Dandekar.

Dil Hi To Hai will have Yogita Bohani as female lead. Popular actors like Farida Dadi, Akshay Dogra, Sudeepa Singh and Bejoy Anand are also part of the show. Show will go on-air on Sony Entertainment Television. Karan is known for his role as ‘Arjun’ in show ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’.
