New Delhi: Popular TV actor Vivian Dsena and his estranged wife Vahbiz Dorabjee’s impending divorce has hogged limelight since the past few weeks. It was said that the couple’s divorce was put on hold due to demand of alimony. Vivian and Vahbiz, who tied the knot in 2013, announced their separation in 2016. Fans of the celebrity couple were surprised when the news of their divorce hit the internet.

Now, a report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Vahbiz accused Vivian of domestic violence in her divorce petition, among other charges.

A source told the portal the it was not just the compatibility issues which led to Vahbiz and Vivian’s split.

“While filing for divorce, Vahbiz had mentioned that she was abused physically by Vivian and that domestic violence was one of the reasons for her to file for divorce,” the source told SpotboyE.

Both Vivian and Vahbiz are yet to react to the same.

The report further said that this charge was discussed by the judiciary recently but no verdict has been given on the same. The two TV celebs are fighting for divorce since 2016 in Pune Court.

Last month, Vahbiz shared a post on social media, refuting the rumours of her asking alimony of Rs 2 crore from Vivian. The ‘Savitri’ actress issued a statement on Instagram along with the caption, ‘’ Your Questions, My Answers.....Now My Questions, And I Say No More Answers....Lets Bring It To A STOP!!!!’’

Vivian and Vahbiz fell in love on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s 'Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani'. After dating for a couple of years, they got married in 2013 in the presence of their loved ones.

On the professional front, Vivian Dsena is currently seen as Harman in ‘Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ opposite Rubin Dilaik. The social drama will complete three successful years on May 30.



Vahbiz was last seen in Karan V Grover starrer 'Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant' which went off-air in 2017.
