The Jammu lad recently featured in a music video with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. The song titled ‘Mere Angne Mein’, which was released during Holi 2020, created a lot of buzz. Asim’s second music video ‘Kalla Sohna Hai’ with Himanshi Khurana also fetched several views on YouTube. Their sizzling chemistry was appreciated by the fans.
Speculations were rife that Asim would play Salman Khan’s younger brother in ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’. Although, the two are yet to make any official announcement, rumour mills continue to suggest the same.
If a recent grapevine is to be believed then Salman has recommended Asim’s name for three more music videos.
According to a report in a leading daily, the ‘Bharat’ actor has spoken to people to cast Asim in music videos so that he is able to hone his acting skills before entering the film industry.
"Asim is slated to play Salman's youngest brother in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, but Salman wants him to first learn a few things about acting and how to face the camera as an actor. 'Hence, he got him to do a music video where he was paired opposite Jacqueline (Fernandes). Asim, who has still not signed on the dotted line for KEKD due to the lockdown, has also been finalised for three more music videos which Salman wants him to do to hone his skills before he enters films," an industry source told Deccan Chronicle.
Asim Riaz, who finished as the first runner-up of ‘Bigg Boss 13’, recently shared photos with Salman Khan from the grand finale of ‘BB 13’.
