Dance Plus 4 winner is Chetan Salunkhe; Pune's 18 yr old boy lifts the trophy & wins Rs 25 lakh! Here's the winning moment! VIDEO inside!

Known as the 'Shravan Kumar' of season 4 of Remo D'souza's popular dance reality show 'Dance Plus', 18yr old Chetan Salunkhe was competing against the three other ace dancers Vartika Jha, Sujan and Aaanchel & the group V Unbeatable. The Pune born popping star belongs to a lesser privileged family and his mother works as a maid in houses to meet their requirements. Chetan was in Team Punit J Pathak who mentored him through the season post audition. Punit's two contestants Chetan and Aanchel-Sujan were in top 4 against Team Dharmesh(Sir) Yelande's V Unbeatable and Vartika Jha. The third mentor Shakit Mohan's contesntants could not make it to Top 4. Vartika and 'V Unbeatable' were strong contenders of the winner's trophy too since the impeccable dancing skills of the former were even lauded by super judge Remo himself at many times who used to address her as "a star". The group 'V Unbeatable' who always gave nail biting performances with the unimaginable flips performed by the kids in their group, also gained a huge fan following during 'Dance Plus 4'. But the luck was on Punit's side this season. The group used to sport t-shirts with 'Vikas' written on the backside as a tribute to the group's co-founder during each performance, who had tragically died during dance rehearsals some time back, long before they joined 'Dance Plus 4'. Sujan and Aaanchel had both joined individually but were paired up by Remo D'souza during audition round since they both were fantastic contemporary dancers. Chetan was termed 'modern day Shravan Kumar' on the show since all he aspired to do now was to give his parents a better life. While he could not afford dance training and resorted to online Youtube videos to learn the popping art, he even dropped out of school and did odd jobs to support family. All of the four finalists of 'Dance Plus 4' had developed an emotional connect with the audience in course of these 4 months. The final result was based on the voting and Chetan emerged a winner. The grand finale saw some sizzling performances by actresses like Mouni Roy and Nora Fatehi and the event was attended by 'Total Dhamaal' stars Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit.
