'Dil Se Dil Tak' Actor Kunal Verma & Puja Banerjee's Wedding Delayed Due To Coronavirus Outbreak?

Popular TV couple Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee were all set to get married next month.

New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed several lives around the world, has badly affected the business and tourism industry. The deadly virus has not only impacted our daily lives but also many events that were lined up in the future. The release dates of films like ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘83’ and ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ have been delayed. Bollywood couple Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have also postponed their wedding due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The couple issued a statement which read, “Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the later half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families and well wishers to be affected.” We had earlier informed you that popular TV couple Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee would get married next month. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Kunal and Puja have almost called off their wedding due to COVID-19 scare.

A source closed to the couple told the portal that the two lovebirds are tensed about the situation. The different marriage ceremonies were supposed to begin in the first half of April but the couple has kept the arrangements on hold after looking at the current situation, the report added. "For now we are just praying sab theek ho jaaye and will decide on anything after March 31," Kunal told SpotboyE. His ladylove Puja told the portal, "We are giving it a second thought." Puja & Kunal met each other on the sets of  ‘Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna’ in 2008. The couple got engaged in August 2017 in the presence of their family members and close friends.

Puja Banerjee is fondly known for her role of Goddess Parvati in ‘Devon Ke Dev-Mahadev’ opposite Mohit Raina. She replaced Sonarika Bhadoria in the Life Ok show. Kunal, who has featured in shows like 'Hawan' and ‘Dream Girl’, was seen as Sidharth Shukla’s brother in 'Dil Se Dil Tak'. The show also starred Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin.
