New Delhi: After months of lockdown, the audience is quite happy to see the the film and television industries resuming the shooting for shows. However, the deadly Coronavirus continues to haunt all as the number of COVID-19 positive cases is increasing with every passing day.

Just a few days back, it was reported that few actors and crew members from the sets of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' has contracted the novel COVID-19 infections, forcing the shows to come to standstill again for some time.

And now, actor Krishna Soni of the serial 'Choti Sarrdaarni' has tested positive for COVID 19. Krishna plays the character of Rubinder Bajwa aka Robbiie - Harleen’s husband and Khushi’s father.

According to the reports, the shooting of Colors TV show has been put on hold for three days and will resume only after sanitisation of the entire set.



The development has come days after Amal Sehrawat, who plays the role of Jagjeet Singh Dhillon in ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’, lost his father to Coronavirus last month.

Speaking on this note, Amal had told to media that his mother tested positive for COVID-19 twice but his father didn’t have any Coronavirus symptoms. He was taken to hospital where doctors conducted the COVID-19 test and he was found to be infected with the same. While the actor's mother recovered, actor's father who was in ICU succumbed to cardiac arrest last month.

Another incident from the sets 'Choti Sarrdaarni' was reported recently where an  infant was brought on the sets of serial thereby ignoring the rules of lockdown. It was said by the government that children below 8 years of age are not allowed still parents of the infant ignored the risk and allowed the shoot.
