Mumbai: The biggest reality show on Indian television will return with a new twist. There’s no prize for guessing that we are talking about ‘Bigg Boss’. The upcoming season of the show will beam on VOOT Select for six weeks from August 8, 2021. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar will be hosting ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, which is making waves on social media. 


The makers have released a new promo wherein KJo can be seen discussing the rules with his team members. The ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director has promised to introduce new tasks in order to spice up things inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.

Adding an interesting twist in tale, the makers have decided to give ‘special power’ to the viewers. While we have seen Bigg Boss punishing the housemates for their actions in the previous seasons, the fans will choose punishments for ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ contestants. Yes, you read that right! 


Karan Johar shared the new promo of 'Bigg Boss OTT' along with the caption, "Starting 8th August, 8:00 pm on every Sunday and catch the episodes @ 7pm on Mon-Sat & LIVE 24x7 all days."



Bigg Boss OTT Contestants 


Singer Neha Bhasin, known for crooning several hit songs, is the first confirmed contestant of the show. The official Twitter handle of VOOT dropped a big hint about another contestant. We are talking about Zeeshan Khan, who was seen wearing a bathrobe at an airport. His bathrobe stunt didn’t go well as the airline employees didn’t allow him to board the plane.

When and where to watch Bigg Boss OTT? 


‘Bigg Boss OTT’ will be available for streaming from August 8. The opening episode will beam at 8pm on Sunday. Fans need to have a subscription for VOOT Select to watch the new episodes of the reality show.  


TV's popular bahu Rubina Dilaik won 'Bigg Boss 14', which ran for over four months. The show also featured Nishant Singh Malkhani, Aly Goni, Rahul Vaidya, Jasmin Bhasin, Eijaz Khan, Rakhi Sawant and Arshi Khan.
