Popular reality show 'Bigg Boss Marathi 2', hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar, finally came to an end last night (1st September) and former 'MTV Roadies' semi-finalist Shiv Thakare has walked away with the winner's trophy beating Neha Shitole who was declared as the runner-up. Shiv Thakare was surprised & super-happy when host Mahesh Manjrekar announced his name as 'Bigg Boss Marathi 2' winner. Apart from the winner's trophy, Shiv Thakare also won the prize money of Rs 17 lakh.


Speaking further about the show's grand finale, popular contestants Shivani Surve, Neha Shitole, Aroh Welankar, Kishori Shahane, Shiv Thakare and Veena Jagtap were the top 6 finalists. After eviction of other contestants, Neha Shitole and Shiv Thakare were announced as the top 2 contestants.

The actual prize money was Rs 25 lakh but the contestants lost a huge amount during the task. Apart from winner's trophy and the prize money, 'Bigg Boss Marathi 2' winner Shiv Thakare also got a film offer from host Mahesh Manjrekar. The veteran actor and show's host promised Shiv a lead role in one of his upcoming films during the grand finale last night making the fans of 'MTV Roadies Rising' contestant super happy.

Speaking further about Shiv Thakare's 'Bigg Boss' journey, the young lad was touted as one of the strongest contenders since beginning. However, his game during the early days of 'Bigg Boss' wasn't up to the mark. His co-contestants nominated him in the first week itself and called him a misfit for the show. However, Shiv Thakare changed his game completely and emerged out as one of the best performers of 'Bigg Boss Marathi 2'. Apart from his game plans, Shiv's chemistry with co-contestant Veena became the talk of the town.
