Hema on her eviction from Bigg Boss 18

Hema admitted that her exit was unexpected and disappointing. “It was a great experience, but my exit from the show was tragic. The initial six days in jail were tough, once I came out, it took me two days to understand people, and the third day I was out. Everyone wants to be a part of this show and if it is written in your destiny it happens. It was destined to make my life public and the world to know me,” she told Indian Express.

Hema is particularly proud that she will be remembered as someone with a good heart. Describing herself, she said, “I am a self-made woman, who has no filmy background or a godfather. I am very stubborn, I look beautiful, but I am not a very nice person. I listen to my heart, I have seen lots of ups and downs in my personal life, but I never stopped. I have single-handedly worked hard, especially in the last year.”

Hema on her two marriages

Opening up about her personal struggles, Hema revealed the difficult choices she’s made along the way. "I’m very independent, and I won’t tolerate being disrespected. I’ve faced many challenges and made mistakes, especially in my personal life. I’ve defied my family and made some poor decisions, including two marriages that I now regret. I chose the wrong people, and those choices are my biggest mistakes," she candidly shared.

"I did this for my kids—to improve both my present and their future," she said.

Hema Sharma's estranged husband's allegations

Earlier, Hema’s estranged husband Gaurav Saxena, had accused her of intentionally keeping their son away from him. Gaurav, an NRI based in Uganda, has made these claims public through his YouTube channel, 'Gaurav Ki Kahani.’ Gaurav alleged that Hema is obstructing his attempts to see their son. He also revealed that Hema has an older child from a previous marriage, who is likewise distanced from his father, prompting Gaurav to worry that their son might face a similar situation.
