New Delhi: On Sunday, February 12, the highly dramatic celebrity reality programme 'Bigg Boss 16' will come to an end with its season finale. For more than a decade, the Salman Khan-hosted show has been one of the most popular and widely seen programmes in India. There are currently five people vying for the top prize. This season’s five finalists are Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shalin Bhanot, MC Stan, Shiv Thakare, and Archana Gautam, and on Sunday night, one of them will be crowned the show's sixteenth champion.
Fan-created polls consistently show Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in the top spot. Shiv Thakare is in second place.
Despite the fact that the survey suggests Shalin is not a fan favourite, Khatron Ke Khiladi presenter Rohit Shetty nevertheless decided to cast him in the programme. Shalin was eligible to participate in the adventurous reality programme after he completed a series of challenges. However, Shalin turned it down, much to the chagrin of the other contestants. Archana Gautam made fun of him and stated he had insulted the director.
The final week of Bigg Boss included a special segment where the remaining contestants went through their entire journey in the house. They looked down on their cheering admirers from a balcony and were visibly moved by the experience.
At 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, Colors TV and Voot will begin airing the series finale, which will put an end to months of drama, competition, and entertainment. In addition to dance performances by the finalists, the final night will include stand-up by Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek.
The Voot app has been used by viewers of Bigg Boss 16 to cast votes for their preferred finalist. The polls remained open till noon on Sunday.
