Manu Punjabi, who entered the 'BB 14' house as a challenger, had to leave the show due to health issues. Last month, the 'Bigg Boss 10' finalist made his entry along with other five challengers including Vikas Gupta, Arshi Khan, Rahul Mahajan, Kashmera Shah and Rakhi Sawant.
Manu had to bid adieu to the popular reality show after he suffered a pancreatitis attack. The 38-year-old, while talking to a leading daily, opened up about his comeback. He said that he is still recovering and the doctors have advised him to take rest.
Manu further said that he is hoping to return to the show this year. Tasks play an important part in the 'Bigg Boss' house and hence, Manu wants to re-enter the show after recovering fully so that he is able to perform all tasks with perfection.
'I'm still recovering and have been asked to take rest. I don't want to be one of those contestants who goes in with health excuses and doesn’t perform tasks. Then what’s the use of being on the show! But I'm staying positive and hoping to get back to the show in 2021," Manu Panjabi told Times Of India.
On a related note, all the contestants of 'Bigg Boss 14' have been nominated this week as Aly Goni and Nikki Tamboli discussed nominations. The makers decided to punish all the housemates by directly nominating them. Vikas Gupta, who was the captain, escaped the nomination due to his power. Jasmin Bhasin, Rahul Vaidya, Rahul Mahajan, Sonali Phogat, Rubina Dilaik, Eijaz Khan, Abhinav Shukla, Arshi Khan, Rakhi Sawant have been nominated along with Aly and Nikki.
