New Delhi: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone trended on social media after she deleted all her posts from Instagram and Twitter handles. The 'Piku' actress left the fans puzzled with her confusing activity on the photo sharing platform. A day after removing all her posts from Instagram, DP has now shared an audio diary. She decided to delete all the pots from her social media handles ahead of New Year, leaving everyone surprised.

What Deepika Padukone Said In Her Audio Diary?


The 'Tamasha' actress wished her fans on the occasion of New Year 2021 and prayed for the well-being of her loved ones.

"Hi everyone, welcome to my audio diary, Hi everyone, welcome to my audio diary, a record of my thoughts and feelings. I'm sure all of you will agree with me that 2020 was a year of uncertainty for everybody. But for me it was also about gratitude and about being present. And as for 2021, all I can wish for myself and for everyone around me is good health and peace of mind. Happy New Year," Deepika said in the audio diary.

The caption for the post read, "It’s 1.1.2021! Happy New Year Everyone! What are you grateful for...?" Her post has received over 2 million views within two hours.


Why Did Deepika Delete Her Instagram Posts?


The 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' actress grabbed eyeballs with her social media activity. She deleted the posts from the platforms on December 31, few hours ahead of New Year. Deepika is yet to reveal the reason behind the same. Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. One user wrote, "Why you deleted all the posts?"

Deepika & Ranveer's Vacation


DeepVeer, as fondly called by fans, are currently enjoying the exotic locales of Rajasthan. They jetted off to Jaipur on December 29. Although, the couple is yet to share photos from their vacation, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Neetu Singh have posted pictures with Singh on Instagram story.

Deepika Padukokne Upcoming Films

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Kabir Khan's '83'. She is essaying the role of Ranveer Singh's on-screen wife in the sports drama. The highly anticipated flick is based on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup Victory. Ranveer is playing the role of former Indian Cricket team captain Kapil Dev. The film was originally slated to hit the silver screens in April 2020; however, the makers had to postpone the release date due to COVID-19 crisis.

Deepika also has Shakun Batra's upcoming film and Nag Ashwin's next in her kitty. She will be seen sharing screen-space with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in Batra's film, which was shot in Goa and Mumbai. The leggy lass will star opposite Tollywood superstar Prabhas in Nag Ashwin's yet-to-be titled movie.
