Zaira Wasim has been approached by the makers of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 13.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Zaira Wasim, who made her debut with Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, shocked the industry and her fans when she announced the decision of quitting acting. The 18-year-old actress released a statement saying that she has decided to leave films as it led her to the ‘path of ignorance’. She said that her current line of work silently and unconsciously transitioned her "out of imaan (faith)". Zaira’s decision to leave the Hindi film industry sparked a debate on social media. Gossip mills are now buzzing with the rumours that Zaira Wasim might participate in ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Yes, you read that right. A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that the ‘Secret Superstar’ actress has been approached for ‘Bigg Boss’ and she is interested in entering the controversial house. “Bigg Boss on Colors always picks controversial figures as inmates, and of late, there is no bigger talking point than her,’’ a source told IWMBuzz. “If Zaira, who has just wrapped up the shoot of The Sky Is Pink, does sign on the dotted line, it would be interesting to hear what she says in the house about her quitting films due to religious reasons,” the source further told the portal. Zaira Wasim’s last film ‘The Sky Is Pink’ co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will release on October 11, 2019. Interestingly, a new report in another portal also said that Zaira is keen to enter the Bigg Boss house. The report further stated that the actress might follow the footsteps of Shilpa Shilpa, who had quit her TV show 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain'. Shilpa, who had participated in 'Bigg Boss 11' in 2017, lifted the winner's trophy. "Remember Shilpa Shinde, who left acting after her show Bhabhiji got into controversy, had entered the house of Bigg Boss that she eventually won, and also got a great fan following after the show. Now similarly, Zaira Wasim has been approached for the show and she seemed to be interested to spend time in the controversial house," a source told IBT Times. In case Zaira accepts the offer, 'Bigg Boss' would mark her debut on the small screen. Talking about ‘Bigg Boss 13’, the show is expected to go on air from September 29. The makers are currently busy roping in celebrities for the reality show. Interestingly, commoners won’t feature in the next season of ‘Bigg Boss’.
