And the latest update is that the complaints, demanding ban of the show by Karni Sena and BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gujjar, are now being looked into seriously by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
News agency ANI recently tweeted about the same that reads: "Sources: Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is looking into the complaint against 'Big Boss - 13' reality show. (sic)"
This came after an Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA has sought a ban on reality TV show Bigg Boss 13 for allegedly promoting obscenity, and demanded that its host, actor Salman Khan be booked under the stringent National Security Act. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmaker Nand Kishore Gurjar has sent a letter to the union minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javdekar claiming that the reality show has "shattered social harmony" and promotes "obscenity and vulgarity".
