New Delhi: Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar is all set to make her return to the fiction genre with Sandiip Sikcand’s next show on Star Plus. The show is tentatively titled ‘Pani Puri’ and it will reportedly feature Dipika as an actress. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actress back on the small screen post her victory in ‘Bigg Boss 12’. We had earlier informed you that the makers have also approached BB 12 contestant Romil Chaudhary to be a part of the show.


As per the latest buzz, Sandiip Sikcand has managed to bring Romil on-board for the show. Yes, you read that right.


The ardent viewers of the Salman Khan hosted show would know that Romil and Dipika couldn’t see eye to eye in BB 12. The ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’ actress even stated in an interview that if there was one contestant, she wouldn’t like to meet outside that would be Romil Chaudhary.

Dipika and Romil were at loggerheads throughout the show but they managed to make it to the finale of ‘Bigg Boss 12’. While Dipika won the show, Romil finished fourth.

A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Romil will play Dipika’s lover in ‘Pani Puri’. The two BB 12 rivals will romance each other in the upcoming show, the report in SpotboyE said.

Dipika has already started shooting for the show co-starring Karan V Grover. The show will focus on the story of two individuals, who are ready to give love another chance. ‘Pani Puri’ is expected to replace ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at the late night slot in Star Plus.
