Beyhadh 2: NOT Jennifer Winget But Naagin 3 Actress Surbhi Jyoti To Play LEAD Role?

The makers of the show are having monetary negotiations with Jennifer Winget. If things don't materialize, Naagin 3 actress Surbhi Jyoti might be considered for the role in 'Beyhadh 2'.

New Delhi: Sony TV’s ‘Beyhadh’ starring Jennifer Winget as the obsessive Maya, created a benchmark on Indian television with its content. For the first time ever, a female lead character had grey shades in the show. The romantic thriller featured Kushal Tandon opposite Jennifer and their chemistry helped the show in grabbing several eyeballs. We had earlier informed you that ‘Beyhadh’ will return back with season two. Unlike the first season, the show will be produced by Prateek Sharma, who is currently producing ‘Sufiyana Pyaar Mera’ and ‘Bahu Begum’. It was also said that ‘Naamkarann’ actor Viraf Patel would play the male lead opposite Jennifer Winget in ‘Beyhadh 2’. Fans were super excited to see the two of them in a TV show. Gossip mills are now buzzing with the rumours that the makers of the show are also in talks with Surbhi Jyoti. Yes, you read that right. A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that the makers are having monetary negotiations with Jennifer. In case, things don’t work out between the two sides, they might consider another popular face to play the lead role. Surbhi Jyoti, who was last seen in ‘Naagin 3’ opposite Pearl V Puri, might be considered for the role, given her popularity and acting skills, a source told Tellychakkar.

Considering Jennifer has left as reverberating impact on the viewers as Maya, it would be difficult for them to imagine someone else in 'Beyhadh 2' in the same character. It remains to be seen who will play the role in ‘Beyhadh 2’.
