Mumbai: The wait is finally over. TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor has unveiled the first promo of the new season of ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ on Thursday (August 12). The romantic saga will mark the return of Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar to the small screen after a long time. Nakuul and Disha, who worked together in ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’, will be seen playing the respective roles of Ram and Priya in ‘Bade Achhe 2’.

Ekta Kapoor took to social media to share the promo of ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2’. The upcoming daily soap will focus on the story of Ram and Priya, who get married in their 30s. How they fall in love after their wedding will form the crux of the story.

Nakuul and Disha have once again managed to create ripples with their sizzling chemistry in the new promo. If the promo is anything to go by, we can expect a blockbuster show ahead.  While we loved their chemistry, we did miss Shreya Ghosal's melodious voice in the title track of 'Bade Achhe 2'. Check out the promo!

‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, which premiered in 2011, starred Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in lead roles. Despite airing at a late night time slot, the show managed to register mind-boggling TRPs. ‘BALH’ went off air after enjoying a three-year long run on the small screen.

Why Ekta Kapoor Decided To Make New Season Of ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’?

The ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ producer, while talking to Ram and Sakshi, opened up about producing a new season of their hit show.

“There’s an entire generation which has not seen the story of Ram-Priya. They don’t know that urban loneliness in the 30s is a thing. Most TV serials are mass orientated. I have decided to produce an ‘urban and soft’ story,” Ekta said.

‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’ will air on Sony TV.

TV Shows Which Returned With New Seasons

Earlier this week, Colors channel launched ‘Balika Vadhu 2’ to boost its prime-time programming. The channel had earlier introduced ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at an early evening slot. If gossip mills are to be believed, a new season of ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ is also on the cards.

While Star Plus launched ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’in October 2020, Sony TV came up with ‘Kuch Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3’ in July 2021.
