BAD NEWS for Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai fans; Saumya Tandon to QUIT the show

New Delhi: Popular &TV comedy show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ has made a huge fan base for itself in a very short span of time. Few days back there was news that TV actress Saumya Tandon, who portrays the role of ‘Anita bhabhi’ aka Gori mem in the show, is going to quit the show. Although, Producer Benaifer Kohli denied the news but Saumya is actually going to quit the show. According to news in Pinkvilla.com, “Saumya has already resigned from the show in March this year and is now working on a notice period of 6 months. The reason behind quitting the show, as informed by our sources is that Saumya is playing the role of Anita Bhabi from the past three years, and now she wants to try her hand at some different roles. Looking at the popularity of the show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain might run for another five years, and Saumya does not want to stick herself to only one show. Hence, she feels it's the right time that she quits the show.” There were also speculations that Saumya is going to take part in Colors TV reality show Bigg Boss 12. But actress said that she won’t do the show even if she is approached for it. On a related note, Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde use to play the role of ‘Angoori Bhabhi’ in the serial but after fallout with makers, she left the show. Currently Shubhangi Atre is playing the role of ‘Angoori Bhabhi’.
