New Delhi: TV couple Ashish Dixit and Shweta Kanoje tied the knot on May 28 in Nagpur in the presence of their family members and close friends. The two actors, who have been dating each other for quite some time, got married in a traditional ceremony.

Ashish, who was last seen in ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’, looked dapper in a red sherwani while his ladylove Shweta looked pretty in her red lehenga. The groom and bride were twinning in red on their wedding day.

Ashish took to Instagram to share a lovely photo from his wedding along with a heartfelt caption.

‘’ Time and time again I have to pinch myself when I see you Baccha next to me. Making your dream come true is my dream come true Baccha. Now I got my Power @shwetakanojeofficial. Now I got Kick,’’ Ashish wrote.

The newly married couple will host a wedding reception for their industry friends in Mumbai. Ashish and Shweta will jet off to Maldives for their vacation in the end of June.

On the professional front, Ashish was last seen in Zee TV’s ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’. The actor shot to fame with his role of Abhijeet in the show ‘Dil Dhoondta Hai’. Shweta has been part of shows like ‘Qubool Hai’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’.
