Actress Alisha Parveen, known for portraying Raahi in the popular Star Plus show Anupamaa, recently revealed that she was unexpectedly replaced in the show. Alisha played the adopted daughter of Anupamaa and joined the cast in October 2024.

In a heartfelt note shared on her Instagram stories, she clarified that she did not quit the show but was shocked to learn about her sudden replacement.
Alisha wrote, “Hello everyone, I didn't quit the show #Anupama but I don't know the reason exactly why this happened, everything was good but I don't know why this suddenly happened, it was shocking for me too, but thankyou so much for loving Raahi/Aadhya, i am so grateful to being a part of this, I worked so hard for the character but I don't know what just happened, just thankyou everyone who loved me! I will miss this show from the depth of my heart!”
Adrija Roy replaces Alisha
In the latest development, Adrija Roy, who gained recognition for her role in Kundali Bhagya, will take over the role of Raahi. The show has seen several cast exits, including Sudhanshu Pandey, Paras Kalnawat, Nidhi Shah, Gaurav Khanna, and Madalsa Sharma.
