Popular TV actor Paras Kalnawat took to social media to share a heartfelt post for his father, who passed away on March 27. The talented actor, who is currently seen in Star Plus’ ‘Anupamaa’, got emotional while penning his thoughts on Instagram.


Paras shared several throwback photos with his father Bhushan Kalnawat from his birthday celebrations. He mourned his father’s death and wished that he knew that it was his last birthday.


“To The Best Papa In The World, I Wanted To Hug You And Say Thank You For Everything You've Done For Me. I Regret Not Telling You How Much I Love You. You Were My Superhero And You'll Always Be. I Wish I Would Have Known That It Was The Last Time I Was Seeing You When I Left For Work. I Wish I Would Have Known It Was Your Last Birthday. I Know Like Everyday You'll Be The First Person To Read My Post Here. Bohot Kuch Kehna Hai Kisi Din Milkar Kahunga. Just Know I Love You Papa. I Know You'll Be Watching Me From There. According to a report in Etimes, Paras’ father was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed in a lift. His ‘Anupamaa’ co-stars Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey also reached the hospital to extend support to the actor post his father’s demise.

On the professional front, Paras made his debut with ‘Meri Durga’. He has also worked in shows like ‘Mariam Khan Reporting Live’, ‘Dil Hi Toh Hai 2’ and ‘Laal Ishq’. The TV star became a household name after playing the role of Samar in ‘Anupamaa’. The show, which is the remake of 'Sreemoyee', has been topping the TRP charts since the past six months.
