Ankita Lokhande's Mother Denies Vicky Jain's Mother's Claim That The Actor Wants To Gain Sympathy With Sushant's Name
Vandana Lokhande replied to a question on why her daughter mentions Sushant's name on Bigg Boss 17.
New Delhi: Ankita's mother has defended her daughter after Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law said the actor took advantage of the name of her ex-husband Sushant Singh Rajput to win sympathy for herself. She stood by her daughter in an interview with India Today, saying that speaking about Sushant Singh Rajput on Bigg Boss 17 was not a planned move.
In June 2020, Sushant's body was found in his Mumbai residence. In December 2021, Ankita got married businessman Vicky Jain.
Vandana Lokhande replied to a question on why her daughter mentions Sushant's name on Bigg Boss 17. "It is not a strategy or way to gain sympathy. They have been together for eight years and she has lived that journey with him. Even when they broke up, she has always thought well of him and how it was his way to move ahead in his career. And when he passed away, she was completely broken as they had that kind of bond," she said.
Before splitting up, Ankita and Sushant Singh Rajput had a long-term romance after meeting on the set of the television series Pavitra Rishta.
She said, “Sympathy jata rahi hai lagta hai, apne liye. Sushant ko kya pada, woh toh chala hi gaya. Woh tha tabhi bator ke le gaya, kitne acche acche kaam kiye usne (I think she is trying to gain sympathy for herself. What does Sushant care now? He's gone. He got all the love when he was alive and did all the great things).”
Ankita Lokhande's mother was seen talking about the actor's marriage in one of the reality show's most recent promos. In a special episode, she appeared at the Bigg Boss home visiting the house. When they were inside the house, Vicky's mother also met her son and daughter-in-law.
