About Kaun Banega Crorepati 16

Since its debut on July 3, 2000, marking Bachchan's first appearance on television, KBC is now entering its 16th season. The show airs on Sony TV from August 12, every Monday to Friday at 9 PM, and is also available for streaming on SonyLIV at the same time.

This season introduces some new features, including a segment called the ‘super-twist,’ and a new option called ‘Dugnastra,’ which allows contestants to double their winnings. Additionally, there’s a bonus question known as the 'Super Sawaal,' which appears after the fifth question in the first lap of the game. This question comes without options, and contestants cannot use lifelines. A correct answer enables them to use the Dugnastra power in the second lap (between questions 6 and 10) to multiply their winnings, with any bonus amount being added to their total at the end of the game.
