Faizal’s account was suspended on May 19 after he drew sharp criticism on social media for posting a video that allegedly glorified acid attack. The National Commission for Women (NCW) took cognisance of the matter and asked the social networking platform to block the user after the video was deleted. The suspension came in the wake of multiple community guidelines violations.
In a conversation with TOI, Amir confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I have got my account back, but I won’t use it until my brother, Faizal’s account is reactivated, too. We will fight it legally because we know we are not wrong. We have proof to substantiate our claims and have full faith in our judiciary. My management team will soon be sending out a press release on the matter.”

He further added, “I don’t know who is behind all this and why they are targeting my brother and me. They are cropping our old videos and editing them in such a way that a wrong message goes out. Then, they level false allegations against us.”
Meanwhile, Amir Siddiqui is also facing a legal battle after casting director Noor Siddiqui filed a police complaint against him for spreading hatred and sending threat messages to him.
