Akanksha Puri's Father Undergoes A Brain Surgery; TV Actress Shares Video From Hospital

The TV actress posted a video of her father taken after his surgery at the hospital.

Vighnaharta Ganesha fame TV actress Akanksha Puri's father recently underwent brain surgery after he suffered from a stroke. He is admitted to a hospital in the actress' hometown, Indore and has his daughter by his side. The actress who is rumoured to be a Bigg Boss contestant this year, posted a video of her father taken after his surgery at the hospital, wherein he thanked everyone for their wishes and sweetly shared that he has recovered. Talking to an entertainment portal Akanksha said, "My Dad got a stroke recently and I had to rush to Indore. Yesterday, a brain surgery was performed on him and he is feeling better now. Right now I am at the hospital with him.” Earlier, Akanksha shared a note of gratitude on Instagram. “Today, I want to thank my fans, my family, my friends and above all God to give me and my family the strength to cross all the hurdles in life together and giving us the courage to face the best and the worst with a smile. You all are my biggest strength. Thank you so much for all the love. P.S My dad is all okay now. Keep showering your blessings,” she wrote.
She had recently announced that she is leaving the television show Vighnaharta Ganesha, where she plays the role of Mata Parvati, to explore more options. We wish a speedy recovery to Akanksha’s father!
