New Delhi: After actor Radhika Apte shared her ordeal of being locked in an aerobridge for hours, television actor Surbhi Chandna took to X accusing a commercial airline of offloading her luggage and ‘mentally torturing’ her. Chandna, who has done TV shows like ‘Naagin 5’ and 'Qubool Hai’, wrote about Vistara Airways in her tweet.

"The WORST AIRLINE award goes to @airvistara. A priority bag was offloaded for reasons best known to them. they have wasted the entire day and I still have not been assured if the bag has reached the mum apt (Mumbai apartment) or no.. false promises by the incompetent staff horrible delays by airline (sic)," the actor wrote on the microblogging site.

In another post, Chandna said: "THEY ARE NOT SURE IF THEY CAN EVEN ARRANGE A VENDOR TO SEND THE BAG INCASE THEY LOCATE IT ALL THIS AFTER THEY HAVE MENTALLY TORTURED ME.. (sic) @airvistara" Vistara soon replied to the actor's post and promised to address the issue.

"Hi Ms. Chandna, we are concerned to learn of your dissatisfaction. Please assist us with your booking details and a convenient time to connect via DM and we will have this addressed at the earliest. Thanks - Gauri," the airline said in its response.

Chandana also took to her Instagram story and claimed that the ground staff at Mumbai airport was “extremely unprofessional & undertrained and was unapologetic of the situation".

Earlier on Saturday, Radhika Apte had posted photos and videos from the airport anh had said that she and other passengers were locked in the aerobridge for hours after her flight was delayed.

She wrote, “I had to post this! Today morning I had a flight at 8:30. It’s 10:50 now and the flight has still not boarded. BUT the flight said we were boarding and put all the passengers in the aerobridge and LOCKED IT! The passengers with small babies, elderly people have been locked in for over an hour. The security won’t open the doors. The staff has ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE! Apparently, their crew hasn’t boarded. The crew had the change and they are still waiting for new crew but they have no idea of when they will arrive so no one knows how long they’ll be locked inside. I managed to escaped briefly to speak to the very stupid staff woman outside who kept saying there is no issue and no delay :) now I’m locked inside 😃 AND they just told us that we will be here till minimum 12pm 🥰 all locked in. No water no loo. Thanks for the fun ride!!”

Following Apte's post, an IndiGo spokesperson said the flight was delayed due to "operational reasons".
