Mumbai: Popular TV actress Kavita Kaushik, who is fondly known for playing the role of Chandramukhi Chautala in ‘FIR’, has donated her hair for wig making for the cancer patients. She took to social media to share a video to inform her followers about her noble deed.

The talented actress asked the fans to wait for her new look while sharing the video on her official Instagram handle. “And this goes to donation for wig making for cancer patients,” the caption for the post read.

Kavita Asked Fans For Advice
The ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestant had asked her fans for a suggestion before getting a haircut. She even shared a representational image on her Instagram story to give a glimpse of her look before going to the salon. "I'm dying to go for a makeover and get funky short cut, like this!! Please advice na, should I?," her post read.
Madhuri Dixit's Son Also Donated His Hair For Cancer Patients
On the occasion of National Cancer Day, B-town's Dhak Dhak girl had shared a post on Instagram to reveal that her son Ryan decided to grow his hair for almost two years as he wanted to donate it to cancer patients.
“NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES….. But mine did. On the occasion of National Cancer Day, I would like to share something really special. Ryan felt heartbroken seeing several folks who were undergoing chemo for cancer. With everything they go through, they lose their hair. My son took a call of donating his hair to the Cancer Society. We as parents were thrilled with his decision," Madhuri wrote.
The 'Devdas' actress also said that she and her husband Dr. Shriram Nene were 'thrilled' to know about their son's decision. She added, “As per guidelines, it took him almost 2 years to grow the required length of hair. And this was the final step. Here we are today standing proud. @drneneofficial.”
