Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 12, which was set to take the 10:30pm slot on weekdays on Colors TV, will now air on all days at the prime time slot of 9pm. Viacom 18 COO Raj Nayak shared the news with the fans on Twitter; leaving many confused. With the launch of the big-ticket reality show, Colors will bring in some programming changes as the time slot of ‘Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’, ‘Bepannaah’ and ‘Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka’ will be changed.


Bigg Boss 12 will now clash with Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 on Sony Entertainment Television at the 9pm slot. BB 12 with its theme of ‘Vichitra jodis’ this season will compete with the quiz based show which was launched on September 3.


Talking about the programming changes on Colors, the three shows- Roop, Bepannaah and Silsila will have to bear the brunt of Bigg Boss 12, as per a report in an entertainment portal.

Shashank Vyas and Donal Bisht’s ‘Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’, which currently airs at 9pm will be shifted to 10pm slot. Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda’s ‘Bepannaah’ will also be moved from its current 9:30pm slot to late night 10:30pm. Drashti Dhami, Shakti Arora, Aditi Sharma and Abhinav Shukla’s ‘Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka’ will lose it 10pm slot, thus moving to 11pm on weekdays, as per the report in India Forums.

Speculations are also rife that the channel will launch Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria’s ‘Dastaan E Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali’ at 8:30pm slot next month. The historical show is expected to replace Udaan at the 8:30pm slot.
