New Delhi: Popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh was recently in Indonesia to attend the launch event of his show ‘Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali. The ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ actor has a significant fan following in the neighbouring country. Shaheer met his former girlfriend Ayu Ting Ting at the event and he apologized to her for breaking their relationship abruptly. The handsome actor asked for forgiveness and said that he never meant to hurt Ayu.


Ayu, who did a show in Indonesia with Shaheer, accepted his apology and the hugged the ‘Mahabharat’ actor.

The video from the event made waves on social media and now Shaheer has shared a picture with Ayu on Instagram. He thanked the Indonesian actress for forgiving him and gifting him closure.

The caption for the photo read, ‘’ I guess to have a clear heart we need to accept, forgive and be forgiven. Thank you for forgiving me and gifting me closure. Thank you.’’

On the professional front, Shaheer is currently playing the role of Abir in ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’. The show is the spin-off of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Shaheer is paired opposite Rhea Sharma in the show which has opened quite well.
