New Delhi: ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ are the two longest running daily soaps on Indian television. Both ‘YRKKH’ and ‘TMKOC’ have managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their TV sets with their entertaining episodes. Talking about ‘Taarak Mehta’, the show is the only India sitcom which has completed over 10 years. The show has given many memorable characters to the viewers, be it Jethalal, Dayaben or Tappu.

Ardent fans of the show have been eagerly waiting for the return of Disha Vakani who plays the role of Dayaben. The actress is currently on a maternity break.

Speculations were rife that Disha’s real life Mayur Vakani will leave the show. However, the actor, who essays the role of Sundarlal, squashed all the rumours. He even said that he would continue to be part of TMKOC till the time the show is on air.

Gossip mills have also been buzzing with the rumours that the makers of ‘Taarak Mehta’ have given a 30-day ultimatum to Disha to return back to the show. In case, she doesn’t make a comeback, she might get replaced.

‘When will Disha Vakani return to Taarak Mehta?’- is the question on everyone’s mind. Mayur Vakani was recently quizzed about the same.

Mayur, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that he could speak only about himself.

"I can speak only for myself. I am hard-pressed. Leave me alone," Mayur told SpotboyE.
