Congratulations are in order for singer-actor Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal as the two are now proud parents to a baby girl. The couple welcomed their daughter on February 24,2022 at a suburban nursing home in Mumbai, reports etimes.
While talking to BT, new dad Aditya said that he wanted for a baby girl and his wish was granted. He said: “Everyone kept telling me that it would be a baby boy. But I secretly hoped that we would have a baby girl. I believe fathers are closest to their daughters, and I am happy that my little girl has arrived. Shweta and I feel extremely blessed that we are parents now.”
Aditya further added that he was with his wife Shweta in the delivery room when the baby was born.
Talking about the moment when his child was born, he told BT: “I was with Shweta when she delivered, and I seriously feel that only a woman can show the kind of strength and perseverance to go through this and bring a child into this world. My love and respect for Shweta has doubled now. A woman goes through many things when she delivers a child and even during the pregnancy phase.”
Aditya also shared that his father, singer Udit Narayan, is beaming with joy and constantly calls the baby angel.
On a related note, Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal met on the sets of their debut film, Shaapit. The couple dated for around 10 years and then got married on December 1,2020.
