Television channels are leaving no stone unturned to make the last quarter of 2018 a memorable oen for the viewers. After Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is rumoured to return back with his popular talk show Satyamev Jayate 4. The talk show, which was laucnhed on Star Plus in 2012, focused on social issues and marked the small screen debut of the ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ actor. The show enjoyed a successful run and aired 15 episodes in the first season, 5 episodes in the second and 6 in the third season.

A report in a leading daily has suggested that Aamir is all set to return with Satyamev Jayate 4 in the first quarter of 2019.  The superstar will start focussing on the show after finishing the promotions of his much-awaited film ‘TOH’, the report added.

“Once Aamir finishes the promotions of his Diwali release, Thugs Of Hindostan, he will start focussing on the show. His team has begun the research, but the actor, who covers all aspects of a topic, wants everything to be perfect before it goes on air. This time, the superstar will deal with broader topics and those that affect GenNext like depression and unemployment, etc. The show, comprising around 10 episodes, will air post Ted Talks India,” an inside told DNA.

Interestingly, SMJ will continue to beam at the Sunday 11 am slot.  The show had proved to be a ratings winner in the first season and did quite well in the next two seasons as well. Satyamev Jayate became the talking point and created a buzz on social media when it aired its episodes.

Shah Rukh Khan is also returing with a new season of his show TED Talks India Nayi Soch on Star Plus. The show, which aired at 7pm slot might get a new time slot as per the report in the daily.

‘’While SMJ will be relayed at 11 am every Sunday, talks are still on for a slot for SRK’s show. Last season, the latter was aired at 7 pm, but this time around, that may change as the channel wants to build a slot for knowledge-driven and motivational series,’’ the source further told the daily.

Talking about the other actors, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the launch of Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 on Sony TV while Salman Khan is returning as the host of Bigg Boss 12 for the ninth straight year. KBC will hit the airwaves from September 10 while a launch date for BB 12 is yet to be announced by the makers.
