When asked how she managed to keep our relationship under wraps, Heli told Times Of India, “Well, no one asked me about it. All my friends in the industry know about us.”
Heli and Ankit’s love story began at the latter’s restaurant in Mumbai where the actress would go daily while she was pursing dentistry. The beautiful actress said that she became friends with Ankit first and later fell in love with him after six months.
“I would go to his restaurant almost every day with my friends, and he would join us. At that time, I didn’t know that he owned the restaurant. Later, he tried connecting with me on social media, and I found it awkward. In fact, I blocked him for a few days. However, I didn’t want to appear rude and later talked it out with him. We became friends and fell in love six months later. It happened naturally; there was no official proposal,” Heli told TOI.
Heli also opened up about marrying her beau Ankit and said that the two of them are currently focused on their work.
“That’s the obvious next step, but not immediately. We are focussed on our work for now. Both our families are aware of our relationship. They know kabhi toh hoga, but kab hoga ye nahi pata,” the actress told the daily.
Talking about ‘Naagin 3’, the supernatural saga has recently witnessed the entry of Shaan, played by Prince Narula. It is Anu Mittal (Heli), who has brought Shaan into the lives of Bela and Maahir.
Naagin 3, which also stars Pearl V Puri and Anita Hassanandani, has been topping the BARC TRP ratings since the day it went on-air.
