A report in ANI reads, “Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau is conducting a search for Sushant Singh Rajput's friend, assistant director Rishikesh Pawar who has been absconding since yesterday. He was summoned to appear before the agency, in connection with a drugs case.”

Rishikesh Pawar was questioned by the NCB earlier in the drugs-related case. Last year, a drugs supplier named the assistant director during an investigation into the Bollywood drugs case.

Sushant's staff Dipesh Sawant had also named Rishikesh in his statement and alleged that he used to supply drugs to the late actor.

Meanwhile, the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is currently being investigated by three central agencies namely – CBI, ED and NCB. The Narcotics Control Bureau started its investigation in the ‘Kedarnath’ actor’s death case after receiving an official communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Since then, the agency has launched massive breakdown into the drug cartel that apparently exists in the film industry. The NCB had arrested many personalities from the entertainment industry including Rhea Chakraborty, Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa among others. They also summoned Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and many more from Bollywood.
