Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was not only a fantastic artist who excelled in his craft but also had been very instrumental in the contributions towards the society. From making donations for the needy to promoting and supporting the women entrepreneurs, the late actor had extended his helping hands wherever possible. Recently, the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s contribution to the society has been recognised by US state California on the occasion of Indian Independence Day and sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a post on social media with the recognition certificate.

Shweta Singh Kirti took to her social media on the occasion of Independence Day and posted a picture of hers with a certificate from the California Legislature Assembly. Along with the picture, she wrote that California has recognised her brother’s overall contribution to the society. She went on to thank California for their support.

Also, on the 2-month death anniversary of SSR, Shweta shared a post urging people to join them for a ‘Global 24-hour spiritual and prayer observation for Sushant Singh Rajput’ on August 15, 10:00 AM. She shared an image which starts with the quote from Bhagavad Gita “These bodies are perishable, but the dwellers in these bodies are eternal, indestructible and impenetrable.” Below the quote, a request for everyone to join hands for SSR’s justice was inscribed. It read, ‘Please join us for a Global 24-hour spiritual and prayer observation for Sushant Singh Rajput #GlobalPrayers4SSR A collective minute of silence and prayer 10:00 am (your local time) on 15th August. Prayers and Positive Thoughts!!’

Meanwhile, many Bollywood personalities have also stepped forward and requested a CBI investigation as they feel that the family of the late actor deserves to know the truth.
