New Delhi: Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda's rumoured relationship has been in the news for quite some time now but now it has been alleged that their relationship is for real. A Hindustan Times report quoted a source which confirmed the relationship between the two star kids. The publications cited a source from the sets of director Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film 'The Archies'. Recently, at the annual Christmas brunch organized by the Kapoor family, Suhana accompanied Agastya where, "Agastya introduced Suhana as his partner to all the family members,” the source said.
Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda, both are making their debut with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies'. It is their debut in the film together. As per the source, it all started on the film's set. "They would spend a lot of time together and were not even trying to hide their bond. While they don’t plan to make it official yet, most people in the production house learnt about their bond in August 2022."
The report also mentioned that Agastya's mother, Shweta Bachchan approves of their relationship and 'loves' Suhana.
Meanwhile, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Zoya’s adaptation of ‘The Archies’ considering the film is a recreation of an iconic comic series. The film also courted quite a lot of controversy around its casting process in which most star kids were finalized as the cast. Even though the film’s creative team and casting directors went on record to allege that multiple rounds of fair auditions were done; a section of people refused to see that side of the story. Claims of nepotism have shrouded ‘The Archies’ ever since it was announced.
Written and directed by Zoya Akhtar, 'The Archies' also stars Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Rohit Chetry, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja and Agastya Nanda among others.
It will be released on Netflix this year.
