New Delhi: After much stalling and postponement owing to the Omicron scare, filmmaker Rajamouli has finally locked the date for the release of his magnum opus film 'RRR'. The power-packed drama will have a worldwide theatrical release on March 25.
The makers took to the film's official social media handle and announced the date by sharing a poster.
Earlier, the makers had locked two dates for the film's release and informed the audience about the same by sharing a post. It read as,"If the pandemic situation in the country gets better and all theatres open up to operate at full capacity, we are ready to releasse the film on 18th March 2022. Otherwise, RRR will release on 28th April 2022."

The film, that was earlier supposed to release on January 7, was delayed as theatres were shut down and operated at 50 per cent capacity, owing to the rising Omicron scare in the country.
'RRR' is a fictional tale of Indian revolutionaries in the 1920s. The film stars south megastars Junior NTR amd Ram Charan in lead roles as Ram and Bheem. Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt plays one of the female leads while Ajay Devgn will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film. The audience will finally be treated to the much-awaited film on March 25.
