Director Geetu Mohandas on Toxic and working with Yash

Director Geetu Mohandas shed light on the unique world of Toxic and her collaboration with Yash. “This is a story that breaks norms and is designed to stir the chaos within us,” she remarked. “Today, as we unveil the first glimpse of our film, we also celebrate Yash—a man admired nationwide for his vision and charisma. His brilliance is something I’ve observed closely, and to those who follow his journey, his approach is as enigmatic as it is precise.”

Sharing her insights into the creative process, Mohandas continued, “Working with Yash has been both a privilege and a thrill. Together, we have crafted a captivating world that transcends conventional boundaries of storytelling. The fusion of our creative perspectives has resulted in a narrative that goes beyond compromise or chaos—it’s a transformation, where artistic vision meets the precision of commercial cinema. This film is meant to be more than watched; it’s meant to be experienced on a primal level.”

She added, “Yash’s dedication to his craft is unmatched. Through his quiet yet unwavering reverence for cinema, he has shown me that the process of creation is sacred. For him, the only certainty lies in the thrill of the journey ahead. These words are not just those of a director about her lead actor but are for anyone who seeks to understand his unyielding passion and boundless creativity. Happy birthday to our Monster mind!”
