New Delhi: 'Kalki 2898 AD' has been released. The Nag Ashwin film is winning appreciation from all across fans and critics alike. 'Kalki 2898 AD' stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The film also has cameos by several celebrities and filmmakers and fans simply cannot keep calm about the same. Interestingly, the character of Lord Krishna in 'Kalki 2898 AD' has caught everyone's attention.

While many are wondering about 'who is Krishna in Kalki 2898 AD', many are simply impressed with the way the character has been dealt with in the Nag Ashwin film.


The makers have intelligently made use of the Lord Krishna character by not showing the face of the actor who plays him. There  are back shots of Krishna and if and when Krishna faces the camera, his face is kept in the dark.


For those who are still wondering, Tamil actor Krishnakumar aka KK appeared as Lord Krishna in the film.Krishnakumar also confimed the same by sharing a screenshot of his appearance on 'Kalki 2898 AD' and wrote, "kalki2898ad An absolute honour to be able to open an epic film, playing such a special character. Grateful (sic)."




Before Krishnakumar confirmed his presence in the film, netizens were almost certain that Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu played the role of Lord Krishna in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.


 






On the other hand,  Tamil actor Arjun Das lent his voice for the character of Lord Krishna in the film. 


Das shared a post on X, mentioning that he lent his voice for both the Telugu and Hindi parts. "All the credit should go only and only to @nag_ashwin & @swapnaduttchalasani #Kalki2898AD (Telugu & Hindi (sic)."
