After being discovered hanging at her home in Chennai, Meera was reportedly taken to a private hospital. After examining her, the doctors declared her dead. She was reportedly experiencing pressure and receiving therapy for it.

Vijay Antony and his family received a shocking discovery on September 19 when his daughter Meera was discovered dead at their Alwarpet, Chennai, home at around 3 am.
