New Delhi: Becoming a mother is both a difficult and rewarding experience. Tollywood actor Ram Charan's wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela recently discussed her postpartum experience and the steadfast love she had for her husband. After tying the wedding in 2012, the happy couple celebrated ten years of marriage last year with the birth of their daughter, Klin Kaara. In a recent interview with ETimes, Upasana discussed her experiences after giving birth.

Upasana had to remain at her parents' house throughout the difficult postpartum period. She recalled how being a faithful husband and doting father, Ram Charan showed his dedication by moving in with her to help out. She recalled, "My husband is my therapist and moved in with me to my parents’ place. I understand that it’s not the same for all mothers, so it’s vital for them to prioritise their well-being and seek professional help when needed.”

Upasana praised Ram Charan's engagement in their daughter's upbringing and his "hands-on" approach to parenthood. She said, "Charan’s loving attention and participation in raising Klin Kaara has enriched this phase of my life even further. Even her eating habits mirror his; she’s a true Konidela. Transitioning into motherhood has been a profound journey, but certainly not without challenges.

Upasana had previously said that she froze her eggs because she wanted to be true to herself and not give in to cultural expectations. According to her, "egg freezing is like an insurance for couples."
