According to Mathrubhumi, Revathi, a resident of Dilsukhnagar, had attended the event with her husband, Bhaskar, and their two children. The chaos erupted around 10:30 PM when Allu Arjun made a surprise visit to the screening. Despite heavy police and security presence, the crowd surged uncontrollably to catch a glimpse of the star, leading to the unfortunate incident.

Videos on social media showed the chaotic scenes, including a man attempting to revive the unconscious child with CPR. The main gate of the theatre also collapsed during the turmoil.
