New Delhi: SS Rajamouli is a master of many art forms. But dancing is most definitely not one of them—as the ‘RRR’ director recently demonstrated when he took the stage to perform. Since then, a video of his performance has gone viral, and many have praised him for his easygoing demeanour.

SS Rajamouli dancing with his wife

The video, which was reportedly taken at a wedding, shows Rajamouli and his wife Rama dancing elegantly to a track composed by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. After dancing separately for a while, the pair eventually unites to perform a number of passionate dance steps, drawing applause from bystanders.

They danced to the song "Andamaina Premarani" from the Telugu film Premikudu, which is a Telugu version of the Tamil song "Kadhalikkum Pennin" from the Telugu film 'Kadhalan.' Pallavi, Udit Narayan, and SP Balasubrahmanyam sang the original song.

Several fans reshared the video on their accounts on Gram and X. Many posted heart emojis, while some called the director's moves cute. Many also pointed out the filmmaker's inability to dance but still appreciated his carefree attitude.

Rama, who married Rajamouli in 2001, has worked as a stylist and costume designer on several of the director's films. Rama has received numerous awards, including three Nandi Awards for Best Costume Designer. Her work on films such as ‘Magadheera’, ‘Eega’, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’, and ‘RRR’ has received positive reviews.

Rajamouli upcoming projects

On the professional front, SS Rajamouli is currently directing his next film, which will feature Mahesh Babu in the title character, after his previous film, ‘RRR’, became a worldwide hit.

“Right now, my focus is this big film that’s coming up with SS Rajamouli — that’s where all my attention and energies will be. It’s a dream come true for me. We’ve been trying to collaborate for a long time and it’s finally happening. I will give all that I have to it and I’m very excited about it,” Rajamouli told Peacock magazine about his project.
