The Family Star OTT Release: Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur starrer Telugu drama 'The Family Star' is all set for its OTT release after its theatrical run. The film that could not do well at the box-office, will premiere on streaming platform Prime Video on April 26. The romance drama, written and directed by Parasuram, released in theatres on April 5.


According to Prime Video, "The Family Star" will be available for streaming in Telugu and Tamil in India and over 240 countries and territories, with dubs in Malayalam and Kannada to follow.

In the movie, Vijay Deverakonda portrays the role of Govardhan, a devoted family man striving for greatness while shouldering the responsibilities of supporting an extended joint family. The official plotline describes how Govardhan's life takes a delightful turn when Indu (played by Mrunal Thakur), a charismatic new tenant, enters his house and his life. As their relationship blossoms into an unexpected love story, Govardhan and Indu must navigate various challenges that test their bond.
