Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya are no longer together but it seems that their name keeps cropping up time and again for some reason or the other. Recently, a video clip of hers went viral where we see her reveal something interesting about her Ex. While Samantha does not specify which ex she is talking about here, many have presumed by default that it is indeed Chay, who is all set to get married to Sobhita Dhulipala soon. In a fun chat with Varun Dhawan from their 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' promotion rounds, Samantha made the interesting revelation that has drawn many fans’ ire on social media.

In the video, we see Varun Dhawan ask Samantha what was the most ridiculous thing she had spent her money on. Samantha almost instantly quips, “My ex’s expensive gifts." When Varun asks, "Which is how much?" to which Samantha laughed and added, "Quite a bit," until Varun moved on to the next question.

Interestingly enough, while most fans and netizens generally support Samantha whenever she makes a comment about her ex or marriage or a previous relationship, this time Chay’s army felt quite heavy in the comments section.

A major portion of netizens supported Naga Chaitanya, reinstating what a mature man he was for not dragging Sam into every interview of his. And, how he too could rub it in against Samnatha, but he chooses to be dignified about his separation.

A Chay fan wrote, "So u mean son of one of the richest man demanded expensive gifts from u 😂. Massive respect to chay for keeping quiet after divorce . He can tell thousand such things about her but he kept quiet and moved on with his life ."

Another comment read, "She can't shame him on social media like that , a true lover would never expose her personal things on media ."

While Naga Chaitanya’s fans trolled Samantha, many of Sam’s fans stood up for her and fought back through comments.  
A Samantha fan even mentioned, "Samantha gifted him a house and now chay is planning to move to tat flat with his new wife. So samantha even sent him a legal notice to return her money back. I think she s mentioning tat."

Another loyal Samantha fan said, "Maybe it’s truth that she might have spent which is what she is telling. And yes she does regret spending on Cheater. So why ppl are burning from inside and troll her for insulting him? 😂😂 he has already insulted himself by cheating on her and now for getting married to that women .."
