New Delhi: 'Vettaiyan' has finished a second weekend at the box office. However, the Rajinikanth film has not crossed the Rs. 150 cr nett mark in India. The action film's eleven day collection stands at Rs. 134.25 cr nett, in India, reported Sacnilk.com.
While expectations around the film were at Rs.150 cr, it seems that the film is yet to reach the mark on the domestic front. However, on the global front, the film has crossed the Rs. 350 cr milestone mark.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the Rajinikanth's film's global collection on X and wrote, "Despite new releases, Vettaiyan has been the first choice of preference for audience with HOUSEFULL shows on 2nd Sunday. Superstar #Rajinikanth's film grows from strength to strength by crossing ₹350 cr milestone mark.
Day 1 - ₹ 77.90 cr
Day 2 - ₹ 45.26 cr
Day 3 - ₹ 47.87 cr
Day 4 - ₹ 41.32 cr
Day 5 - ₹ 27.80 cr
Day 6 - ₹ 24.16 cr

Day 8 - ₹ 17.23 cr
Day 9 - ₹ 16.04 cr

As per the analyst, 'Vettaiyan' has also become the first Kollywood film of 2024 to gross Rs. 20 cr+ in all southern states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Vettaiyan is an action drama starring Rajinikanth as Athiyan, a senior police officer, who accidently shoots an innocent person during an encounter and the aftermath of what follows. The film has been directed by 'Jai Bhim' fame TJ Gnanavel.
