“For the naked scene, Prithviraj was fasting for three days, not even water on the last day; before the shoot, he took 30ML vodka to drain the remaining water from the body. He was carried in a chair to the location. We needed to lift him from the chair before the shot,” Sunil recounted in an interview with The Cue Studio. In a previous interview with Hindustan Times, Prithviraj expounded on his strenuous physical training for the part, saying, “The idea was that I looked like somebody who does not have access to enough food, and was starving most of the time. The only way I could do that is to actually adopt that process, which means that my transformation was almost entirely based on fasting. At times, I used to fast for up to 72 hours. I would drink water and black coffee, but nothing else.”
