New Delhi: Kamal Haasan has always been one of the first people in the entertainment industry to embrace changes in technology; from makeup to CGI, the Southern film industry superstar has been an example to learn from. Once again, the veteran actor has outdone himself. At 69 years of age, Haasan has enrolled himseld at a prestigious institution to learn AI.

As per a Deccan Herald report, 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan has enrolled himself in a top-notch U.S. institution to learn AI. The crash course is said to be of 90 days. 


Despite his work schedule, Haasan has found time to keep up to date with cutting-edge technology that can further Indian cinema. 


As per the same report, insiders suggest that his newfound skills will help bring in a new phase in filmmaking. 


Kamal Haasan is already in the US to begin his course. While the course lasts 90 days, Haasan will attend it for 45 days before returning to India due to work obligations.


DH also quoted a source close to Kamal Haasan who shared that the megastar's future projects will have AI technology in his movies. 


Last year, in an interview with DH, Kamal Haasan had spoken about his interest in technology and said, "I have a deep interest in new technology, and you can often see my films experimenting with the latest technological developments." 


"Cinema is my life. All my earnings have gone back into my films by various means. I’m not merely an actor, but a producer too, and I reinvest everything I earn from movies into the industry," Kamal Haasan concluded.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kamal Haasan is currently working with Mani Ratnam on 'Thug Life' and prepping for 'India 3', besides also the sequel of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
