New Delhi: The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film 'Leo', starring Vijay, has been performing well at the domestic box office. At the box office, the movie has been consistently rising. After one week of release, 'Leo' has reportedly earned over Rs 266 crore in India, according to Sacnilk.com. The film was released in theatres on Thursday last week.
Sacnilk.com reports that 'Leo' made Rs 64.8 crore [Tamil: Rs 48.96 crore, Telugu: Rs 12.9 crore, Hindi: Rs 2.8 crore, Kannada: Rs 14 lakh] on its opening day, Rs 34.25 crore [Tamil: Rs 28.04 crore; Telugu: Rs 4.5 crore; Hindi: Rs 1.6 crore; Kannada: Rs 11 lakh] on day two, Rs 38.3 crore [Tamil: Rs 31.4 crore; Telugu: Rs 4.4 crore; Hindi: Rs 2.35 crore, Kannada: Rs 15 lakh] on day three, and Rs 39.8 crore [Tamil: Rs 33.55 crore; Telugu: Rs 3.5 crore; Hindi: Rs 2.6 crore; Kannada: Rs 15 lakh] on day four.
The movie's earnings were Rs 34.1 crore [Rs 29.5 crore in Tamil, Rs 2.55 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.85 crore in Hindi, Rs 1.85 crore in Kannada] on the fifth day of release, Rs 30.7 crore [Rs 24.5 crore in Tamil, Rs 3.45 crore in Telugu, Rs 2.55 crore in Hindi, Rs 2 lakh on the sixth day, and Rs 13.4 crore [Rs 9.85 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.85 crore, Hindi, Rs 1.55 crore, Kannada: Rs 15 lakh] on the seventh day of release. According to early predictions, Leo could make ₹11 crore nett on Thursday in India on its seventh day for all languages. The movie has made Rs 266.35 crore so far.
Meanwhile, in a plea submitted to the Madras High Court, Seven Screen Studios Production requested permission for the movie to premiere in Tamil Nadu theatres as early as 4 a.m. on the day of its release.
Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy, and Gautham Menon are among the other actors who appear in the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film 'Leo'. It is made available in a number of languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
