As the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, L2E: Empuraan promises an intense cinematic journey. The recently launched teaser, unveiled in Kochi, offers a glimpse into the film’s gripping narrative. Set in the abandoned Northern Iraqi town of Qaraqosh, the teaser introduces Steven Nedumpally, a saviour with a dark edge who leads the most powerful mercenary group in Asia under the alias Ab’raam Qureshi. The visuals hint at a tale of power, betrayal, and control, blending the murky world of mercenaries with political intrigue.
Adding to the grandeur of the teaser launch was the presence of Megastar Mammootty as the chief guest, along with the film’s cast, crew, and other notable figures. Mohanlal is seen in a high-octane action-packed role, with the teaser showcasing the film's ambition for scale and drama.

Lyca Productions, known for high-budget and content-rich films, is co-producing L2E: Empuraan alongside Antony Perumbavoor’s Aashirwad Cinemas.
